I received recently Gary Doucette's latest kit, the Johnnie Parsons Kurtis which he won the 1950 Indianapolis 500.
This is one of the best looking kits Gary's put out and it's probably going to be my next project after I clear my work bench of a couple projects.
It's a car that fills a gap and it is done brilliantly too. I highly recommend taking a look at it!

I also got mine. I was also pleased with the quality. The grill is really well done and the detail is sharp. He also has the 1949 (red) version of this car available.

I have received mine too along with a phone call yesterday from Gary. He is thrilled and touched by our comments about how great this kit really is. I have waited a very long time (over 60 years) for the 1950 winner. Johnnie Parsons was one of my childhood heroes and this is a special kit. It may not be Gary's best but it is really something. So, my friends, if we want people like Lance and Gary to continue to share their marvels with us, we need to support them. I can't wait to see a WIP by one of us. Jim

Got mine a couple of days ago and I think it's a beauty! Definitely one of Gary's best efforts to date!
