Following Patrick's build has got me curious about the Mercedes being run at Indy. I'm not having a lot of success fining out much about the car(s). Any suggestions for web sites, books, magazine articles, etc.?

Thanks Patrick! I'm still very confused though. And my confusion comes from the Revival 1/20th scale kit.  This is the kit that got me interested in the subject. I believe it's supposed to be based on their W163 kit. (?) I can't believe how ignorant I am on this topic. Help!  Paul Erlendson |

Interesting looking kit - unfamiliar with it myself... but those tires!!! OMG!!!

The Revival kit has the nose of a W154, but from the photo it appears to be short like the W163. I think the comparison photo that I posted shows the length difference. As to the engine both were supercharged, but with a displacement difference 3 liters to 1.5 liters.
