So I may have goofed. I recently stopped by my local(ish) hobby shop to pick up a couple of cans of fluorescent spray paint but wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was grabbing. Long story short, I grabbed Polycarbonate spray instead of lacquer. Will this stuff bond to primed diecast or am I better off taking it back?

Covered this a while back when I did the same thing! According to Calvin, the stuff dries flat, rock-hard, and is pretty much not sandable. If you can get back to the store, return it.
