I'm mostly testing Imgur functionality, since it appears Photobucket is in the process of kicking the bucket. I built the Bill Jorgensen kit several years ago, but last fall painted up this American Racing Miniatures figure I had lying around. I really enjoy figure painting, and I'm very pleased with how this turned out!    |

Would you take it the wrong way if I told you you have a very nice figure?
Placing a figure next to the model seems to make the whole thing more interesting--nice work!
The Imgur photo came out good on my end. A little slow to load, but that's probably my computer.

Good job on your driver figure.That figure was mastered by Fred Lombardo for Chicago. Many of you know Fred for his beautiful figures and Indy cars, all sporting a seated driver figure accurately replicating that car's driver. Fred is an absolutely wonderful man who was very generous to Tom and I (ARM) in allowing us permission to cast several of his figures. spyder

Ah, yes, Spyder, Fred Lombardo - I should have mentioned. His sculpts are very nice indeed. I have a couple more in the stash that I need to get painted up.

Excellent figure work. It really adds something to the build. He really looks gritty as those tough guys from the '50s definitely were. A great tribute to one of the most successful drivers at the Brickyard.
