I'm mostly testing Imgur functionality, since it appears Photobucket is in the process of kicking the bucket. I built the Bill Jorgensen kit several years ago, but last fall painted up this American Racing Miniatures figure I had lying around. I really enjoy figure painting, and I'm very pleased with how this turned out!

Would you take it the wrong way if I told you you have a very nice figure? Placing a figure next to the model seems to make the whole thing more interesting--nice work!
The Imgur photo came out good on my end. A little slow to load, but that's probably my computer. --Frank

Good job on your driver figure. That figure was mastered by Fred Lombardo for Chicago. Many of you know Fred for his beautiful figures and Indy cars, all sporting a seated driver figure accurately replicating that car's driver. Fred is an absolutely wonderful man who was very generous to Tom and I (ARM) in allowing us permission to cast several of his figures. spyder

Ah, yes, Spyder, Fred Lombardo - I should have mentioned. His sculpts are very nice indeed. I have a couple more in the stash that I need to get painted up.

Excellent figure work. It really adds something to the build. He really looks gritty as those tough guys from the '50s definitely were. A great tribute to one of the most successful drivers at the Brickyard.
