I’m trying to address this piece on my 1/18th scale Greenlight. Does anyone have close up photos showing how this is attached? Is it a “T” shape? Quite often it seems to be attached directly over decals that are already on the car. Is it removable as it’s only used in the super speedway configuration? Stu has counseled me to add it as he did on his Graham Rahal car, and I might have to do it that way, but anal me has this need to know more. Paul Erlendson

Looks like the wicker is optional at roadcourses. I was looking through Michael Portaro's Indy 2017 album (FB or website) last month and noticed something weird - no wickers on the 21 and 4 at the Indy GP. It was a stark contrast!
I cannot see a T or L shape of the wicker but I am still looking through references to see if I have a better shot. Maybe someone here has something on point!?

It's my understanding that Indy Car mandates that the Hondas running the Honda aerokit at super speedways must use the center line wicker.

Looking at other photos I am seeing Marco's car with the wicker in road course setup.
