A quick question for a friend. A friend of mine is building Al Pease Eagle at the Canadian GP. Does anyone know what the logo is (and have reference) on the tip of the Eagle nose? Looks like Bear Thanks in advance. Chris

I prefer the 1969 scheme to the 1968 but all Eagles are beautiful. Hosted on Fotki

Chris, When you state "tip" of the Eagle nose, are you referring to the upper surface of the nose? If so, I am pretty sure that is the factory Eagle head inside the letter "G" the Eagle wore. The top photo looks to be from the 1967 Canadian GP (Clark passing Pease) and I think AAR had sold the chassis to Castrol-Canada shortly before that race.
In the bottom photo (color) it would appear the Eagle logo is gone, and an STP logo placed just below the number roundel.

Thanks everybody, I was looking for conformation that the logo on the side of the nose was the BEAR logo.
It is confirmed, thanks goes to everybody for your help.
