1980 T/A Pace Car

I'm thinking an Indy pace car build is appropriate for this forum.

I've got more in the stash, and would like to build more. I actually started this one back in the early 90s, and was never really happy with it and stripped it all down about a year ago and re-did it. It's not the greatest kit, but in the end I think it turned out halfway decent.

I think that is really nice! Is there a list, somewhere, of the pace cars used at Indy?

I just *found* the Revellogram '55 Chevy Indy Pace Car kit. With the Monogram Indy Racer kit, this kit would fit right in!

Hey thanks. It certainly has its warts - sits too high, the hood fit is terrible, etc., but c'est la vie.

I'm so close to finishing the '69 Camaro, until I totally screwed up the trunk decals! It was from a set from someone who I can't recall their name at the moment, and I keep hoping he offers them up again on ebay. In the meantime, I just ordered a set of Cady decals that I hope will suffice.

As for a list of pace cars, just google "Indy 500 pace cars" and there are plenty of lists. I've started compiling a list of those that can be modelled. If I get a chance, I'll start a thread.
