I took the Fernando Alonso diecast to the Memorabilia Show on Saturday at the track. Overall it was a big hit until people started inquiring about the price. I had decided to list it on EBAY before taking it to the show and I guess I am glad I did. At the time of the show the bids were up to $400 so most people decided it was too rich to try and purchase it there. But, while at the show I made a discovery. In my rush to get the car done and if you look close at the photos above, I forgot to add the blue stripes to the car!!! No one seemed to notice not even two Alonso team members! At least they didn't say anything. It took me seeing a poster that was for sale to notice the stripes were missing myself! Anyway, when I returned home I added the missing stripes. Looked great in person, Stu. I came back to the memorabilia show to talk a bit more but you were gone by the time I got to the tables I had gone by the first time through.
Sounds like good money for the car, you might want to make some second chance offers to the losing bidders!! LOL Maybe no figures since they didn't put up the top dollars.....

I saw this car in person at the show and it was incredible. Who ever bought it will be quite pleased with their purchase to say the least.
