Paint Stripper and Putty Questions ???

Hello Guys,

I have been out of building models for quite some time and need your help. A friend is going to build a couple of cars for me and needs to know a couple of things.

I would like to know what I can use to strip the paint off the 1/18 Minichamps Cars ?

Also, what is the best Putty to use on these cars, as well as, what type of gluess ?

Almost any paint stripper will work. Zip Strip, etc. I like to use the "Safer" orange strippers. They take longer but are easier to rinse off.

Any hardware store or automotive paint store will have this. I use all sorts of fillers depending on how much I have to use. Automotive filler such as "Bondo" works well as does glazing putty. All found at an automotive paint store.

Always use gloves when stripping and wash the body thoroughly several times after stripping or he will have paint issues later on. Also remove any plastic pieces or the stripper will eat them beyond re-use. Good luck.
