That's cool. Pace Cars (and almost Pace Cars!) are an important part of Indy History. Sandy

Very nice! I like it but I have to agree that the Viper was a much better choice for pace car ;D You have many other pace cars in the pipeline?

While the wishlist is long, pace cars I have kits and decals for right now are: 1933 Chrysler, 1953 Ford, 1955 Chevy, 1964 Mustang, 1978 Corvette, 1993 Camaro, 1994 Mustang and 1998 Corvette.
There are a lot of other pace car kits available, and Cady did a bunch of decals that can be used on some resin kits. One that is pretty high on my list is I'd like to get a 1959 Buick Invicta. Another one of my favorites is the 1981 Regal. I've got the Cady decals, but don't know of any kit, resin or otherwise, that would work.

MacSparty, wouldn't a Revell Grand National be a start for the 81 Regal?

MacSparty, wouldn't a Revell Grand National be a start for the 81 Regal? I really need to pick up one of those kits and study it. It seems someone told me there were quite a few differences, but I can't recall right off what they were. Seems like it should be able to be made to work somehow, though.

the Stealth was the Official Pace Car used by CART in there PPG pace car program there are some photos of it on the web and in the Autocourse annuals the real car had a more greenish hue to it it was sold in a Champ Car bankruptcy auction in June of 2008 It had a nice size dent in the rear quarter panel Almost bought it but got Speed6 pace car instead
