Hi, I made my first modeling attempts in the late fifties before I came to school. Once infected modeling remained my favourite hobby resulting in approximately 250 models still in my hands. Though meanwhile first of all a dedicated scratch builder of vintage trucks I switch to modeling vintage racing cars from time to time.
I am going to show here some classic Grand Prix racing cars from the earliest years to the sixties; these are mostly pairs of corrected and superdetailed 1/20 models (i. e. always one model with coachwork and a second model as a chassis) using the originally abysmal Casadio/Revival kits as a basis.
I hope that you will find one or another of my models interesting. I am going to start my first topic " 1961 Ferrari Sharknose - 1/20 Double Build: Superdetailed Chassis & Complete Car" in the F1 sub-forum subsequently.

Great to have you here, my initial look at the Sharknose is that it is really well done. Looking forward to seeing you post here more so we can see how you build these masterpieces.

Welcome. What is your first name? Look forward to you sharing! Thanks for the friendly welcome! Sorry, I forgot to add my signature. As can be seen now my first Name is Jürgen, a nordic variation of the originally Greek Georg(e). BTW if the umlaut "Ü" is missing on the keyboard the international spelling is Juergen.

Wilkommen, Juergen! Es ist gut dich hier zu haben! I've seen the photos of your Squalo! It looks like not only are you a Meister-builder, but a Meister-photographer, as well! The photos look like the catalog pictures for a museum! --Frank
