I'm resurrecting Gary Doucette's Ascot dirt car build. I'm apprehensive about the decals. He's sent two sheets, one is white to go underneath the yellow images. First question, has anyone done this car and had any trouble with the decals? I'm concerned about getting proper registration on the two layers when they go over the bump on the hood. Second question, is Solvaset okay with these decals? I have both Solvaset and Micro Sol. Thanks
John

Take your time, John, and you should have no trouble. The Cady decals were all that way, and worked fine, it just takes longer. I would let the base dry before you apply the top layer. I use Solvaset, it just works much better IMO.

Never had a problem using solvaset on Cady decals. My only problem with those decals was how to pronounce the name: long "a" (bake) or short "a" (sad)? --Frank (the sad baker)
