Morning/afternoon/evening all - depending on what part of the world you are in.
I am in the UK and on a night shift....Urrgh.
Right. Confession time. I only joined coz a mate of mine told me about the site and a possible means of getting hold of some models I thought I would never find. Turns out I might be in luck.
Have been looking through the forum and found two things. The building skill and passion is something I don't see much of but I am really impressed with what many of you have put together. And secondly I am gutted to find I have probably missed the boat on so many wonderful 1/25 Indy car kits I knew nothing about.
Collect and build all scales and have more than enough slot cars. Tend to focus on a few drivers and have put together some modified stuff and even one scratch build I might share with you all one day. Tambay, Sullivan, Nilsson, Peterson, G Villeneuve and Andretti.
I guess a good way to see what I have done is to read something I chucked together a few years back for one web site.
motorposts.com/a-career-in-miniature-by-joe-santos-part-1/
That particular part of the collection has since swelled to 60 cars....
So joined for maybe the wrong reason but come back and browse thru everything twice a day. You got me!

Welcome, there are more kits coming all the time. If you are like me, you will end up with a lot more projects, than time.

Cheers Fellas.
So much of what has to been added to that particular collection involves sports cars and Rally Raid cars which are not exactly open wheel subjects. But the real fun is getting on and doing all those lovely 70s F Renault and F2 cars. Alpines Chevrons and March cars. Love em.
Anyone out there doing 3D printing of formula cars at 1/43 yet? I got a real need for some March 743/753 models that have never been produced to do Sullivan and Nilsson material. That lot will go nicely with the March 78b I was so lucky to find a while back to do Sullivan's Atlantic car from 1978. And where are the 1/43 Galmers. and...
Better stop there before my head explodes. Gabbling.
More kits than time is so right.
I figure we are all like this. What we built. What we are building. The large amount of kits we have ready for building, and then the models we want to build that have never been produced.
