PIt is June 5th, 1932...Nuvolari draws the 4th place starting spot out of a hat...he will win by 1 lap over a Maserati V5(?)...the Alfa team has not yet been given to Scuderia Ferrari to run, so the prancing horse doesn't appear on this car... o There are only 3 events that count toward the championship, and this car/driver wins 2 of three and finishes 2nd in the other... Later versions of this car will widen slightly at the front, so the super chargers will not be exposed... This is the view the competition had... It seems the numbers were raised on the right to clear the exhaust...I'm guessing that happened so that the pits could be sure which car was which... This picture is to show the wheels...at first I considered using high dollar wire wheels, but pictures seem to show the wheels as dirty and greasy...I used the SEFinecast wheels that came with the kit...they came out fairly well and show the greasy condition... I must give credit to Jaunjo Mas for inspiration...his Indy Delage showed me that these could be done well...I have had this on my mind for years, because the Alfa P3 is an iconic car of the 30's GP era...comments, questions welcome...thanks for looking! Tim

Nice work, Tim. Those wheels look great, to me.

Really nice work, this was an era with some beautiful cars and you captured this one very well. I like the figure addition, too.
