Hello from Lincolnshire England,

Came here after looking for models of F5000 Cars, I collect 1.43 scale. Not really a builder but seeing as there's only the yank Lola and a couple eagles I am going to have to learn.

I have a large collection of road, or mans and touring cars but f500 is my new collection theme.

Hoping to buy a lola kit soon In meantimr I've just cut up an old dinky surtees ts5 and a magazine model of the mclaren m7, hopefully start of something.

Any tips of ideas on building and also decals would be great.

Welcome! By all means get one of Kevin's Lolas, it's a great kit and Michael has his usual great decals for them too.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
When I lived in Germany, in the mid-'60's, all I could find in the hobby shops were 1/43 models. I would imagine things have changed a good deal!
There is a lot of building expertise here, and a lot of inspiration, so jump in!
Any where near Woolsthorpe? If so, say hello to Isaac Newton's spirit for me...
