Had a special delivery waiting for me today! 2 of my 8 Hondas arrived. They will morph into two Conor Daly cars. Thankfully they're just as easy to take apart as the Chevy!

Tell Conner that you stripped down the Indy 500 winning car to do his conversion and send pictures for proof. He is always joking around with the other drivers may be he can give Rossi a hard time. Looking forward to seeing your work. As they would say in the Lego world you have become a Master Builder. May I also add or ask what and how do you strip down the plastic parts?

Looks nice, but is the front cowl coming off?

Looks nice, but is the front cowl coming off? Yup. I was getting ready to take this one apart when I gave the raced look a try. Just put shock cover back on without gluing it or securing it properly.

Gotcha, didn't know if you noticed that or not. I've seen one or two direct from GL with a gap like that!

Good job on the weathering. You were smart to start on a to be striped car because if you did not like it, you could just take it all off to make a Connor car. haha

Those look like sticker tires though

Those look like sticker tires though Fresh set of stickers on there lol. Didn't feel like sanding those down to make em look like they had a few laps on them. 88 car looking good so far. Front wing, rear wing, bumper and sponsor blockers got the carbon fiber treatment.

I like the different patterns and tightness of the weaves, very realistic.

Hard to pick a winner in this race. The special edition 500 tires and flag motif are cool on the #18 but the colors and BC tribute make the #88 really nice. Great work on both, but will have to check the photo finish camera to see which one is my favorite! Jordan

Both cars look great! Have your co-workers gotten used to you heading up to the roof with those mysterious boxes yet? --Frank
