Looks like Bottas will be the next poor devil to be the teammate of Hamilton, and Massa will have a very short retirement. Not something that pleases Lewis, I suspect.

Racing is very fickle and all about timing
I was hoping for Hulkenberg. Everyone on the grid and in the sport knows he is extremely talented. You can't be World Driving Champion without the car..... happens to the best of them.
When I was younger and really into the sport there were two guys who were very talented who history paints with the wanker tint. Marc Surer and Manfred Winklehock. Marc hit a tree in a rally car which effectivly ended his front line career while we lost Manfred in a Porsche 962. I once worked with a couple of guys who were at ATS and they had nothing but great things to say about Winklehock as a driver and person.
This is a tough sport, best of luck to Valtteri Bottas.

The Finns must be really happy, they are hoping Merc still has the car to beat I guess. Anyone's guess who has the best car for 2017 at this point. Still it will probably considered sink or swim time for Bottas, will be interesting to see how he does against his teammate regardless.

I would not bet on anybody but Mercedes, or Red Bull, Jordan, but anything is possible. I suspect Bottas will follow team orders, but he will not back down to Hamilton. I don't think Mercedes wants a replay of last season.
