Hi guys
I'm an old timer just getting back into the hobby. I have a link to a gold mine of good photos from late 50s to the late 60s.
These photos are all from the Dave Friedman collection at the Henry Ford.
The link opens to the 67 Indy 500 with about 1400 photos. Not many from the race itself but a lot of good pictures of the cars and a lot of people.

This is only the tip of the ice burg.
Look at the top left of page one it says back to albums list. Click on it and it opens to about 140 albums on two pages. These cover most of the 60s Indy 500s a lot of Indy car type races and a lot of everything else.
There are a lot of good detail photos like in the 62 Indy 500 about 50 or more photos of the M/T cars.
