I don't know of any kit that will supply the suspension, Paul. There will be some scratchbuilding involved. Based on the pictures of the original, the suspension looks very similar to the suspension in the old Aurora Ford GT, reissued a while ago. That's going to be my short cut. I bought mine last night. Can't wait! pbh

I have both Howmet turbine and Aurora GT40 suspension bits available so I'm watching with keen interest to see what you guys can come up with. WelloKAYden (tried to write that in yooper) I have one in the landing pattern. Let the fun begin

Guys, It's 04 July 2020 past this thread origin date but I received my '62 MT pre-roller skate(?) last month and it has joined my open wheel projects corral. The past discussions mentioned suspension, and I have found that the early '60's Revell/AMT hot rod kits had some excellent sports car/ grand prix type tubular front and rear suspensions and radius rods front and rear along with Jaguar IRS and quick change differentials. Just bought two parts only kits of Revell 26 T Sedan with all these parts plus a nice 289 Ford-Cobra engine. The some of the other hot rod/show car kits have a lot of parts we need, don't overlook that source of parts.

Thanks for the heads-up on parts source. I have a few of those kits and am looking at sourcing the parts from them...

Hi Guys Some people have been asking about things on the M/t 62 car. As Juanjo,s ( jj66 ) build is perfection the only thing I can add is the location of about 50 photos of the M/T cars. I'll give it to you 2 ways in case I mess up the link. ( www.flickr.com/photos/thehenryford/sets/72157631227767472/. If this work it will take you to about 1400 photos of the 67 Indy 500. On the top left of the first page it says Back to albums Click on it and it will bring you to page 1. Go to the bottom of the page and click to page 2 go to row 4 and in the center is the 62 Indy 500. There are about 50 photos of the 62 M/T cars. You might want to save this site as there are 7 Indy races ant a few at other tracks as well as a lot of other types of racing. The other way is to go to the Indy Car modeling site and go to the 62 to 78 section. I have a post there from December 11th or 12th 2016 it is Good Photos for late 50s to late 60s builders. My name on the other site is offset. Ralph Ralph Ellery NESMRA ( It's a Super Modified thing ) Brooksville Fl.
