This is really nice! I always thought this was one of the best looking cars in the roadster era. Thanks for sharing. Jim

Nice to see something new off of your bench, Stu. It is a really good looking car and what an honor to have the 1:1 owner want to buy your replica. Any more details? What you started with, what you changed, etc...

The car has custom decals made by me printed on ink jet clear decal paper with the artwork drawn by my Dad. Even the twill seat cover is a pattern I printed onto white decal paper. The donor car is the Norm Hall 64 roadster for two reasons. I needed the scoop on the left hood and I needed the wider tires for another project. I swapped out a flat hood from another donor car for the right side and used thinner tires and rims from my parts box. It has two different seats that I combined into one and I scratch built the duel shock towers up front. Ribbon seat belts with photo etched hardware. Paint is Tamiya pure white followed by Tamiya pearl white. Scallops are Tamiya metallic red over silver with camel yellow stripe accents done with vinyl tape. The hand brake on the right side is also scratch built. The chrome scoop tip is Bare Metal foil.
Thanks for the questions and interest Jordan.

That is just beautiful!!!!!! I had forgotten how nice this car was and how many of us remember Shorty Templeton. That's a name from the past.

Dad is old school and does everything by hand. He is a retired graphics artist that has many designs as claims to fame. He is my hero. No doubt he helps me with many conversions and it's cool to be able to do stuff with him.
