I recently made an old Thunderbird NASCAR of Buddy Baker's. It was sponsored by Valvoline and was dark blue and white. For the interior I used Testor's Blue Angel blue and the exterior I used Tamiya TS-15 over white primer, The blue is pretty dark, maybe a match for Sunoco or a little too dark. Tough call.

Just applied the clearcoat (zero paints), makes the Sunoco Blue paint look much better.

The the rear of the car is still challenging but fits and goes together much better than before, more than worth the delays in getting this one out

Found three parts today that I need to make over, still pleased with how it is going together though.

Nearly done, need to tweak the windshield and get the rear to set a bit higher.

Lance, I'm drooling with anticipation, as Donohue's Indy winner is one of my all-time favorite cars, and your work is incredible. I can't miss ordering one.
Just two questions:
1. Any idea when you expect to release this kit?
2. Will you be accepting pre-orders for it?
Please let us know and ease my mind!

I hope to start shipping in the next few weeks. after doing the build for the instructions I have a few things I discovered that need fixing, I am having a metal part made over and discovered some resin parts I need to re-cast. Between purchasing the decals , packaging and shipping and everyday bills it will take a few weeks to get them all shipped (will be doing so as I can afford to). Yes you can pre-order, PM me for details. Lance

PM sent.
Take your time, it's more important that you be happy with it, because that'll be the better for us when we receive the kit. As long as I get my order in so I don't miss getting one, I have no problem waiting for you.
Thanks much, Cameron

Hey Lance...thought I'd ask how things are going with the kit? Do you know when you're going to start shipping? This is a very cool car and can't wait to get my hands on it...
