D&R isn't a bad team and John Andretti is not a bad driver, but it kinda seems like Petty's name is on the deal only for getting sponsor $$$!?!?
Will be interesting to see how the team pans out. I think with how good they are that they're a lock for getting in but I am not confident that they can find the magic to compete for the win. Your thoughts?

I think it's pretty neat for Petty to get involved and I've always liked John Andretti, but if I were an oddsmaker, I'd put their chances of winning at 50-1. Tom T.

I am a huge fan of John's but after he was let go from Petty Enterprises in the middle of 2004 I haven't cared for the Pettys at all. They sure have done well since huh? I hope John does well at Indy however. Bringing the car home in one piece and in the top 15 is probably the best I can realistically hope for at this point. He did have some decent runs last year in Marty Roth's cars so we'll see. G

Well, even though the Dallara in the picture is alot prettier. I hope Petty gives him updated equipment! Got to be a showcar.

Tell you a good story. I've known Mario's twin brother Aldo for years and one day I mentioned to him that I always appreciated how nice John was and was so fan friendly. Aldo' wagged his fingerr and slowly replied in that famous Andretti-Accent and said, "I'll tell you, I tol' him years ago, we don't have that S**** at our house!".

Perhaps the only Andretti that ever smiles. I don't know about that. Michael married a Playboy Playmate. He should be smiling all the time.

My 0.02 worth
I have always liked John Andretti and Richard Petty....This is going to be cool! Good looking car too.

Actually, Sandy had some mental problems and sought treatment about the time she and Michael split. She returned to the Speedway when Marco was a rookie and was much nicer.
