Are you as annoyed by that two-piece seat as I am? Since I never use the driver figure that seat with the seam running down the center always bothered me and my attempts at fixing it were so-so at best. Well, here's a new project I'm working on: I currently have one being printed at Shapeways - if it fits I'll make it available (you will still need the head-rest from the kit seat.)

Michael, you've done it again! That looks great and if everything works out I'll be sure to order a few.

I'm interested in building one of the Reynard kits. What are the drawbacks of the kit besides Michael's correction?

No engine detail, but that can be rectified as Kevin Kuzman makes the Honda, Ford and Toyota engines that can easily be dropped in.

That seat is looking good Mike. You're doing some fine work for OPEN Wheel cars....

Just got back my second attempt at this and I think it's good to go and it's now available for sale at my Shapeways store: shpws.me/MQ71You will need to remove the head rest from the kit seat. Do not cut horizontally (indicated by red line), you will need to cut down (green lines) otherwise it will not sit high enough.

Nice one Michael. One seat and an additional T-L detail kit on it's way. 20% off is cool with me
