Okay - I know. This is a weird one but this is what happens when Harveythedog has the creep and crud. Poor guy is getting so old that I have to seriously think of putting him down. Harvey is a Husky and turns 17 next month. He is definitely the oldest living dog I have ever had. Anyway, he had me up every ten minutes to go outside and do his business last night from 1am to 4am. It got to the point after the first few times that I couldn't fall back asleep so I did the next best thing. I sat at my modeling table and pulled out the decals and started sifting thru them. Next thing I know this is what I have. I took a new Greenlight all white Dallara and made it into Mario's 1988 Amoco car. Yeah, pretty silly but it was actually pretty fun and made the time pass by. I bought these decals years ago to someday make an actual 88 Lola but never got around to it so here you go. It will just go on the shelf until the day I decide to strip it and make it into something else. Yawn... The day is catching up with me about now...

When you get tired of it, sell it for the cost of multiple donors! Maybe it is time for IndyCar to do the retro paint scheme thing, too, after all the Z-7/Yellow Submarine has been a big hit when it runs.
You know my mind was wondering the other day when watching Pocono on YT and was thinking how two do Mears' four winners on DW12, maybe the first two (Cosworth) winners on Honda aerokits and the last two (Chevy) winners on Chevy aerokits.... This goes to show how the classics never go out of style!

That is great, Stu. Might be a bit of a conflict for him to drive a Chevy.

I know how hard this is for you, Stu. Our old girl is 17, and can barely get around. We just hope that she will go in her sleep, but I'm sure I will have to have her put down. It's sure not the first time, but it never gets any easier. Our heroes, and pets never live long enough.

Yup, been in your shoes a couple of times Stu and sympathize. Certainly didn't use my time as effectively as you!

Nice way to spend sleepless nights Stu. The retro look is cool. My heart goes out to you and yours with your Husky. I've had many faithful friends in my life also. Been in those shoes too many times myself. Last October I had to put down my 15 year old German Sheppard, Ceaser. Enjoy him while you can, as I'm sure Harvey will tell you when it's time.

No body mods. Just decaled a white body Chevy while everyone else in the world was sleeping.
