How cool, a Pace Car section!! I have several pace cars, but this is the only one finished, or even started for that matter, the 1993 Camaro, I did this one upon returning to the hobby 8 years ago. Kinda like it, had a ton of trouble with the black. What ever I had used did not like the modeling world, as I used it with disatrous results on some others. Kinda wish now I had painted the wheels, but oh well. Here she is, minus the mirros, which are now done: On a sad note, she is in pieces now. Back in February when packing my hobby shop up for the emergency move, I dropped it. Should be very fixable, but I may have chipped the decals up real bad in a couple of places. Oh well, such is life! Thanks for looking. Dave

Glad you like the new section ;D I just need to dig out the other Pace Car threads here so you can get some company.
Very nice car to get back in the hobby with! Good results, too!
I remember being a high school sophmore that year and telling my youth minister at church that I needed a pacemaker. He about flipped out before I grabbed my Autoweek with the '93 Indy Camaro Pace Car that had the headline "America's Pacemaker" LOL good times!!

Thanks Jordan. This is one of my favorite pace cars, especially since I got to go to the 93 Indy speedweeks courtesy of Champion Spark plugs and had a VIP pass to their luxury box. Awesome experience! Almost got booted out of the track when I got Bobby Rahal's autograph!

That's one of my favorites, too, and one that's been on the "to do" list for a long time. Yours turned out great!
And I am also glad to see a pace car section here! Though I admit I've gotten a bit tired of the Corvettes year after year lately (until this year), I've always considered the pace car an important piece of the Indy mystique. Definitely appropriate in a place like this.
