Hello guys! I call myself an old rookie because to this stuff I am. I have been building model cars for almost 50 years but never got into many Indy kits as I never saw that many and never really got to see the real thing up close. The first thirty minutes I spent here I saw more beautiful builds and information than I have ever seen. I found this site through Indycals while looking for parts and decal sets for some projects I have. I do hope you guys will bare with me during my noob-ness and asking knuckle headed questions about details, parts, suppliers and such. We all have to start somewhere and I feel like I am starting the first grade all over so I am sure some of my questions will be pretty lame. I look forward to hanging around here and when I do get around to posting a build, don't hammer me too hard! I can get a scale stocker to look on the money but I will need some time to get this Indy stuff down. You guys do some beautiful work here.

Welcome aboard, lots of info here, and some great folks. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions, and show your work. We all have different skill levels, there are some true master builders, but most of us just enjoy building, and seeing what everyone else is doing. Names are always useful. Craig

Welcome, there's nothing to be afraid of here, and you probably won't ask a question that hasn't already been asked. It's a fun place, hang on.

Welcome, Leftturns. By all means, feel free to ask any question 1)there's no such thing as a knucklehead question 2) we all learn from a question we all thought we knew the answer to 3)you may ask the question we thought was too knuckleheaded to ask 4) questions lead to debates 5) we love debates Welcome aboard. Great to ave you here. --Frank

Howdy! And welcome to the board. The amount of knowledge here is amazing. Ask questions, build models, post photos and have fun. That's all there is to it.
Best, Gary

Thanks for the greetings guys! Like I told Patrick, I feel like I just showed up at Indy with a low buck Super Modified. Man, you guys are some killer builders and scratch-bashers! There is enough information here to keep me learning for a long time. Glad I found you guys and thanks again.

No Frank, not California, Podunkville. The Ozark Hills----Hillbilly Country. We do wear shoes here------sometimes. We also make the best fuel.

Sorry! Missed that one by a few thousand miles! Tried some of that fuel back in the late 'sixties: still have difficulties with my sense of taste! --Frank
