Just saw an ad from Diecasm LLC in Racer magazine - seems they are bringing out the 1981 Eagle Pepsi Challenger in 1/43rd scale in their Automodello range. Ready-built only, unfortunately, and at a rather hefty price, too. Bo

Yea, that founders edition price. Hopefully they offer one without the signature. But really, how much cheaper would it be.

I know Jacques Dresang who owns the Chip Mead car and persuaded them to make the model of #49, so I would hope they come through in producing both cars.

I got an email back from Jim and it sounds like this summer we should see the Pepsi Eagle and they are 3/4 sold out so I am getting on this first thing Tuesday when I am back in the office! AFTER I pre-order and secure mine - I'll post this at TrackForum, etc and get these sold out hopefully. Awesome.
