It seems to always take me a long time, but look, I finished something! I was cheering hard for Little Al in 1989 when he ended up in the turn 3 wall. So I haven't done the winner that year, but this will do. AMT kit, with a few minor tweaks. And the always excellent Indycals, of course. Which changes you made to convert T88 to T89 Lola? []´s

It always was interesting when Little Al was near the front at the end of a 500! This a great looking build of that car that coulda/shoulda/woulda won.

Fantastic build! Those last laps were very intense. The Paul Page, uncle Bobby, and Sam "you're wrong" Posey all did very well in staying quiet during those last laps and just letting the drama unfold.

Which changes you made to convert T88 to T89 Lola? []´s Simple, You just buy a T8900 kit.

Very nice. I don't recall having seen this car done before. I was going to say exactly the same! NAd quite starnge, when there are two magnificent tools for that. The AMT kit and Michaels great decals. And I do have searched for it, as I was curious about how would someone deal with the few tweaks that yes, are needed. Mainly to my eye the roll hoop (greatly done). There are a few more, but don't wanna hijack the thread. Excellent job, and was that was due for so long, thanks fr bringing it in!

One of my all-time favorite cars and correct, I have not seen one built before in 1/24-25 that I can remember. It's surprising becasue it's one of the more iconic cars, drivers and paint schemes in Indy 500 history. As a two time winner, he drove pretty much this exact scheme from 1988-1993 at the height of Indy popularity. My dad got a poster of this car with the Colts cheerleaders leaning on it and it hung in my room until I left for college. There is a Tameo 1/43 version of the T89 but I have only seen the RC version built of Al Jr. car. Again, it looks fantastic - great work macsparty! I wish we could swap out the Galmer in the museum for this one as an Indy winner. Also, here is the Tameo kit in RC trim...

I have a Tameo 1/43 kit of this car that I am going to start on pretty soon. Thanks for posting this so I can use it for reference!
I haven't opened to the kit to see if it builds the Indy or the RC version. I am hoping it has the option to do the Indy version. If so, that is what I will build!
