Anybody ever built this kit? I just got my hands on one recently, and probably will do it as a look-alike for Pete Aron's (James Garner's) Yomura from the film "Grand Prix."
Looks like fun.

The Kit is excellent and builds into a fine model. A yomura? Too much work to make a McLaren (really what a Yomura was supposed to be!).
As a parts sourse for other F1 of the era the kit is great but expensive. The engine is a bugger to wire and detail.

Try to find the transparent version, comes with a good photoetched set, cost a little more but you'll llike.

I built one when it first was released. Very nice kit! I had no problems doing it box stock. Kind of jewel-like with nicely molded suspension. It's down there on the bottom shelf. I really need to re-shoot some pics  |
