I'd like to build the Lola Guerrero drove in 1992. I have the Tamiya 1/20 kit but I know the body on the Buicks is different from the other Lolas. How inaccurate will it be to build it box stock? I will of course be using Michael's decals. I'm hoping to give it to a friend, he was at the race in 92. Thanks

Thanks for that. Judging by the photos, box stock isn't a good representation of that car and I don't think I can recreate that engine cover to my satisfaction. Box stock may have to do.

Very nice photos. Car is in a later version as the vanes behind the front wheels were not run on the '92 car. I too have been interested in this car and looked for good photos to understand the "Buick hump" in the engine cover. If anyone has any other good side view photos maybe I could use them to draw up the proper curve to the engine cover.

Adding some epoxy (two component) putty on a glued, curbside body is most surely within your abilities. If you never try, you'll never do
