Hi everybody, this is a car I started 20+ years ago and put it up while life happened. I just finished it. The starting point is the AMT kraco car. I made the decals on a office copier, and from the kraco sheet. The road wings are cut down monogram with .010 sheet styrene end plates. <img style="max-width:100%;" alt="" src=" ">

That's nice, I hope the next one won't take that long.

Man, I thought I was a slow builder! Nice job on the model, and congratulations on getting it done. --Frank

Nice build. Thanks for sharing. One thing I'll always remember about the Saleen team. We would pretty regularly go to the Cleveland race where most of the stands were directly behind the pits. The big teams like Penske, Patrick, Hass, and the like had pits full of all the necessary equipment, tools etc. But the Saleen pit was pretty bare and their tool box was smaller than the one I have in the garage.....I mean shockingly small.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes some teams were on a shoestring budget. You can really tell. I like the "also rans" to model.

Very interesting subject. I always amazed when I see builds of cars that I would have never guessed that I would see built. Thanks for sharing this very unique build.
I remember seeing this car last year in a photo thread online and thought how interesting it would be to see one built and now you've done. Nice job on finally whipping this one. Really like the detail painting, there is a lot here that shows you took your time.

How many cars do you think I have built in the last 20 years. Great job on the model.

I plan to have some WIP's coming soon. Thanks for the kind words, It's not my best work but it's one of my favorites. Lew
