Did they call Mears' Pennzoil cars the Yellow Submarine? To me the "Yellow Submarine" is the late 70s/early 80s Chaparrals. The "Z-7 Special" branding is something I associate with the Mears Pennzoil years. I do like bringing back the classic look, just a little niggly detail.

I think you are spot on, Jordan. The Chaparral 2K was the original "Yellow Submarine". Whatever, the car looks good, plus, when Calvin does the current DW12 Chevy, we can argue about the color.  I hope the roll bar is stronger on the new one than the original. |
