This was the fourth laydown built by Quinn Epperly. Owned by Bob Bowes, wrenched by George Bignotti. Car was brand new for Daytona and tragically took the life of George Amick. Rebuilt for Indy it qualified 11th with Johnny Boyd aboard and finished a respectable 6th. In 1960 Boyd again ran the car with similar livery but as #8. Lost engine and finished 27th. This car ended with John Chalik and Bobby Unser passing his rookie test in it. Kit is complete resin and metal. Michael Portaro did his usual impeccable job with the decals and are available from him at IndyCals. Price is $95 + $5 shipping. Private message me or email: bcra91@netzero.net if you're interested. Thanks for viewing. Rick Faeth Vintage Indy Resin
