Hey all. I participated in a 24 hour model build session with over 70 other people. I chose the Chaparral 2K the Bill Jorgensen produced. Unfortunately there were too many parts that needed to be fabricated. Not to mention the cutting and placement of each decal. So it isn't quite complete. Still need to finish the cockpit and rear end starter connection bracket. It was fun but I don't think I will do a 24 hour build again. Felt like death all afternoon yesterday from fatigue. Enjoy! Baking the paint at about 100 degrees Turned a couple parts on the lathe Start of the decal placement Fabricated the rear pneumatic jacks Turbo and Exhaust heat shield area End game just before noon

Great job, even if it wasn't 24 hour build.

That looks great. I have that kit and I'm waiting to see what Art Laski does with his before I start mine. There are a lot of fabricating opportunities with this kit, I love what you did with the air jacks, it would be cool if someone could cast those. Nice job, thanks for sharing

Incredible! I didn't know it was possible to build a resin kit in almost 24hrs!

Wow, that is a really nice job on it. The scratchbuilding and finished result are great, but so much more impressive given the tight deadline. Nice to see someone tackling an Indy kit for a 24 hour build - thanks for representing us so well!
