Thought I'd share a few photos from a messy workbench on the progress of my 1/43rd scale 1982 March 82C. Lots of details still to be done, but it's slowly, but surely getting there, I think...

At first glance I thought it was 1/25. Looking real good.

At first glance I thought it was 1/25. Looking real good. Sandy Me, too, if I didn't know the poster's preferred scale was 1/43, it would have been easy to think it was 1/25. Very nice work on this, it will be interesting to see how you do your thing. Jordan

Thanks for all the kind words! The pattern has been under way since 1982, so it's about time I get it done, I guess. My plan is to do the Forsythe Racing version (Hector Rebaque (1st at Road America), Sullivan and Unser Jr.'s first Indy Car ride); the Rahal Red Roofs car; A.J.'s front row car from Indy; and Pancho Carter's 1982 and 1983 rides. Plenty more will be possible, of course, and since Kevin of Silver City Models is planning on doing the car in 1/25th scale maybe Michael at Indycals will find it worthwhile to produce other versions, too. When will the model be ready? Well, I have stopped setting myself deadlines, but I sure would love to see it ready in time for the 500...

Well, no need for Uncle Google, the shapes in the background are a few more of my 1/43rd scale projects. Left to right they are the 1984 Lola T800, the 1981 Interscope and the 1983 Theodore N183 F1 car. If you are interested I'll post some photos of those as well, they are just not as far progressed as the 82C. Bo
