ARM's Safety Director has ordered us to clear some shelving for the next "Snow Fall of the Century". We are therefore offering our 1920 Indy 500 winning Monroe for $95.00 until we get dug out next week. This will allow shelf space for emergency rations (toilette paper, milk, beer, hot chocolate, generator fuel, beer, and did I mention beer) for employees forced to remain at World Headquarters during the coming storm. Please check out our web site, www.americanracingminiatures.com. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we face face this monster storm.

Sounds like you are ready, Ed. Don't forget the pizza. We currently have about a foot of that white crap on the ground, and temps in the teens the last two days. I found out real quick that the 19in speed rated tires on the Mazda, are only "all season" in Arizona. Good news is, the F150 is 4 wheel drive, and Tire Rack is only 15 miles away. A set of winter wheels & tires are in my near future. Stay warm, this too shall pass.

Comin' your way Bobby. Already two in. In two hours and the blizzard part is hours away. Snow shovel? Like bringing a pen knife to a gun fight. Snow blower is ready. Are you coming to Richmond?

If I can I'd like to make it. I just got done Gary Doucette's '57 Dean Van Lines car and I'll bring that down...with some ships, too, of course! I started my snow blower up yesterday to make sure it's ready to go. It has a 30" wide cut and a 12 HP engine. 2-stage of course- I'm ready, bro!

Easy to tell that you guys don't get much snow. This is what I use, 48 inch. Please post some photos of that Deans car, Bob. Stay off the roads, guys. Lots of folks can't drive in the snow.

interesting looking vehicle you got there craig. is that what you drive when it snows? duane I put in a lot of time on that thing in the winter, Duane, but not a lot of miles. Where we live, we are blessed with what is known as "lake effect snow". basically that means that in cold weather, mother nature tries to empty Lake Michigan, and dump it on ne in the form of snow. Usually, if it's snowing anywhere, it's snowing here. Compared to last year, this winter has been a breeze (knock on wood).

Did you get that out of an MPC Indy turbine kit?

Not the right brand or vintage, Calvin. I did have one of those Wheelhorse tractors years ago, however.

It sounds like you guys are fighting a monster. I'm glad we live out here in the Rockies. Temp today should reach about 55-60. I left Northern New Jersey 32 years ago. Haven't seen a winter as bad as those but once or twice out here. We pray for snow, and need the moisture badly; all the time. People have the wrong concept of weather in Colorado, and I'm not going to tell them otherwise...

Ed put some bad JuJu on (expletive deleted)! We got just under 2 feet of snow and it took me 3 hours to snow-blow my crib! I'm ready for summertime!

Thanks Tim. Sorry about the food stains. The employees had quit a bash celebrating our survival of "The Big Snow". Model on! Ed

I'm sure that Ed used his snowshoes, and carried the kit to the P O in the middle of the storm. What dedication. It's amazing what you can do with enough pizza, and beer fueling the tank.
