Its still a good week for us Roadster guys. Michael's Ward set, Sutton decals and after a rocky start to the New Year here the Hall #26 decals are ready. The sheet has markings for May and race day, plus markings for races after Indy ( different style number on the rear due to repainting after the turn four crash). Cost is $8 incl post. PM me for ordering.

And a big thumbs up to sandy for getting these done! Duane That was kinda mean, Duane, but made me smile. For those who don't know, Sandy performed a partial "thumbectomy" on himself a couple weeks ago. 10% off on manicures from now on.

That's a good one Craig. You've gotta have thick skin if you want to hang with this crowd. Besides I'm allowed since I belong to the same club as him. Duane

Where was Duane when I needed him??? Right, I had an argument with a table saw New Year's Day. The saw won. A ten minute wood working project and eight hours in the ER. I lost about half my right thumb. The good news is I still have the other half, so it could have been much worse. In time it should be ok and usable with some adjustment. Sandy

Oh my Duane..... Why did you say that? You work around saws every day! I was taught a loooong time ago that karma is a 8itch. (and for the people that don't know - I'm just joking around too!)

I hate to hear about your misadventure with the saw, but am thrilled to see you making decals.

Thanks for these decals. They arrived today and they are very, very nice.
I had the pleasure of meeting both Norm and Len. Norm near the end of his life, and Len when I was working on racecars, and much later when he was at Marie Halls signing copies of his book.
there is a pretty neat story when I first met Sutton. He was with Bob Christie (and that guy was pretty crazy even at his age) this was in 1983. I was working for Eldon Rasmussen and those Pacific Northwest guys were a pretty tight group. My Mom and Dad were Len Sutton fans back in the day, and when I told Len as much I could tell it really made him feel good. Christie asked me what they thought of him. I told him I didn't know........ and few days later they both were back in the shop. I told Bob, "Hey Bob, I called my Mom, She never heard of you!" which brought a huge snort out of Sutton and Eldon!

Good stuff, Hubie! I never got to meet either of those guys, but Marie is good friends with my stepmom and I first met her at Indy in '92. It was shortly after Norm died, so she was still pretty grief-stricken, but she was still very gracious to us. Come to think of it, she owes my ex wife a few bucks from her pool that year, as she won the first out side bet when Guerrero spun, and we never collected. Since she's my ex, I think I'll let it go... ??

Very nice decals! we really need to get AMT (Round2) to reissue that Watson kit! Getting harder to find and more expensive. A nice little kit for it's age.
