All time great. I remember seeing him in the pits at Portland, I didn't recognize him at first, but when someone called him Tyler, I immediately knew who he was.

It's hard to think of those orange cars and not think of Tyler. He was by all accounts the glue that held it all together. He was the first non driver I really looked up to. Makes me think I'll buy his book now.

The book was on back order forever. It came out about a year ago
Tyler Alexander was a GIANT in Motorsports and one of the last true links to Bruce McLaren.
The amount of time spent on airplanes is just staggering. He spent so much of his career overseas that many forget he was an American. 75 is not that old (IMO) The giants of this sport will all be gone soon and we will be left with this group of posers that are active now.

Very sad. Had his book on my Amazon wish list since I first saw it (maybe someone here pointed it out?). What a great career he had and in such a remarkable time in Motorsports.
