Just wondering how you do your builds. In my past two I have cut the floor just as it tapers down for the nose section. I like doing it this way so I can really smooth but the join line and of course very easy to get the drivers tub into place. Just curious to know if there is a better/easier way to do this? Cheers Shayne

I build mine per the instructions, but I'm very interested in the process you go through. After seeing your builds I can see how it works!

The way I have always done it is cut the floor as far back on the nose as possible, right where it starts to flare out to the side pods. Then the under side of the nose can be glued in place and use putty to get rid of the seam.

I have not seen an easier way to get that result. If you are doing an engine, you could put the seat in from where you cut off the engine cover but that will not be easier - more cutting and pre-planning.

Thanks guys looks like I will be doing the usual cutting then. Just wanted to see if anyone had a brilliant idea that may have been easier etc. Cheers.
