Ok here is one I just finished. This is Bill J's kit with Michaels decals. Paint is Duplicolor Black and Tamiya Orange gloss is Future. I used white stripes off a Microscale RR sheet for the trim.   On the Bench: A lot of resin casting 2008 Winner 1971 Winner 1950 Winner |

Great job Dave!! I watched this race recently and really thought about getting another Dallara from Bill - nice touches here that show it was more than just a straight build!

Hey, nice job! Question on rear suspension. Did you canibalize from another kit or use the white metal from B.J.?

Jim,
No, it's Bill's suspension parts. Prior to Bill making these parts for the 2001, 2002, and 2003 I used parts from the Revell Reynards.
If the wheels are shiney I usually use the Reynards, in this case they are black so I used Bills resin tire and wheel castings.

Great Job Dave. Hope mine comes out that nice. Should be starting my summer builds some time soon which will be all the winners from 2000 to present. I now have an additional place to go for a good photo of a build up . Thanks.
