Is there any way to get a small amount of glue off of a die cast car (Carousel 1) with out ruining the paint? It appears to be a CA type of glue. I do not know if a debonder agent would work or not. Any tips would be great.

Well I guess no takers on this question. That's ok I knew it was a tough one. I went to another general modeling board after I Googled my question. There were a few things there that I saw but would have to buy product. The most common one idea was strait acetone. I tried this just very lightly and gently. Still working on it but it does eat through the CA. I just have to be real careful not to see any of the original paint on the tip of the q-tips that I am using and also I have a watered down paper towel handy. Which I use to wipe away the acetone. Again like everything in this hobby patients and easy does it.

Sorry I wasn't ignoring you but I just saw this. If it's CA there is not a lot you can do but if it's on a good spot (not on a crease or edge) I would try 1500 grit sand paper. Wet of course. Go slow and in circular motion if you can. Check the car often to make sure you are not rubbing thru the paint. It will dull the area you are sanding but a good polishing wax will bring the shine back.
