I'm toying with the idea of doing some of the Union F1 kits of the late 60s era. I also know that the tires on these kits are not very accurate. Where would someone source proper tires for these cars? Thanks

That would be the same as the Heller kits? I've been told that the tyres to use are ’70s Tires Set for prototype cars from MFH.(http://www.modelfactoryhiro.com/new/en/archives/4098) but I don't know if they are available at the moment

Yes the MFH tires are much more accurate, but require you to adjust the ride height with the shocks. I finally will have a set for the Brabham build (that has been sitting waiting)! Some people find the kits a bit fiddley and sometimes warpage, especially with the Heller plastic can be problematical. Any question on these kits please ask me as I have built and modified a few (15 or 16 of them).
