Here's my first 2015 car in 1:64 scale. A lot of work and a lot of mistakes. On this one I had to redo the complete car from the front wings to the rear fin(which I still don't have 100% correct). A lot of molding, sanding and scratch building.

Pictures have a tendency to make my mistakes stand out, too, when I review them. You scratchbuilt all the aero kit pieces, right? That's quite a task given the scale! Do not beat yourself up, it is a hobby and we are here to have fun. It is a unique piece and will really show the differences from the earlier DW12's in your collection.

Never be afraid to post your work, Terry. I don't think any of us are ever really satisfied with anything we ever build, it's all about enjoying what we do. I like to see anything, in any scale. Everyone has a different skill level, and ability, if they had to be perfect, you would see very few builds here. I think you do great, if very small work. Heck, I can't even think about 1/64.

thank you guys. I really needed to hear your comments as I was becoming very discouraged. You guys do such great work and I really appreciate what you guys do. I've spent many hours on these cars and was trying to make them as accurate as possible. By the time I get these figured out, Greenlight will probably come out with a car. Thanks again.

Terry, I really salute your bravery. I would never have the courage to even try this conversion! Granted, it didn't come out perfect, but at least you're in a position to learn from your first try, and do better next time. I would have never gotten that far. Look at it this way - despite the imperfections, you've built the nicest 1/64 2015 Indycar on the planet, the first one, and probably the only one. You will only get better from here on out. If I may, please allow me to make a suggestion. We both know how poorly Patto's decals fit the 2014 cars. With all the modifications you've done, there's no way they'll fit the 2015 cars. Order the decals without all the body-colored parts, and paint the body yourself. On this particular car, I might have asked them to delete the blue, and just print the white parts. That alone would have saved you a ton of work, and you wouldn't have had to match the blue on the decal sheet. One last thing, and please don't shoot the messenger - you've got the front tires on the rear, and the rears on the front.
Again, thanks for being brave enough to give it a try, and I look forward to your next attempt!

I can't believe I did that. Really getting old and senile.
