found these in an old book i recently picked up.
the first is andy granatelli in 1948 in his own mercury powered car which he destroyed in qualifying and seriously injured himself.
the second is in '66 a twin engined porsche - one engine for the front wheels and one for the back ones. it failed to qualify with bill cheesbourg driving.
