This is the first mock up of my resin PC-9b made to fit a AFX Mega-G 1.7" slot car chassis. I will need to make a couple more molds as I need to raise the windscreen profile, and narrow the cowling around the driver. I think I captured the look fairly well. These are Indycals decals. Next will be the PC-10. I can only hope I can talk Michael into making the decals for that??? .

Can produce these in this form, right now. Although, the nose is a solid piece, and I had to notch out the underside to get the front wing in. The front wing is styrene flat stock. Right now, I can make the body, separate turbo assy. The rear wing is a sanded down piece from my other kits. The next version of the body will have the underside of the front nose notched out, along with a higher profile windscreen with molded on mirrors. I have also moved the rear wing upright back about an 3/32".
My ultimate goal, is to cast the body with the dash assy and driver intact, and cast a separate clear windscreen with mirrors which would be tinted blue or amber like the real ones. All that would have to be done is glue on the windscreen and paint the mirrors white. But that might be a little ambitious in this scale?

I'll post a photo later on how the body looks before the front wing is modeled in.

I will be on vacation (other than every day) for 2 weeks starting early next week. I will order when I get back. That will give you time to finalize.

Here is how the body is now. The kit parts consist of the main body, rear wing, Turbo assy, and driver figure. I notched the underside of the nose out to accept the plastic flat stock for the front wing. The plan is to design and make a resin front wing assy. For racing reasons, I would most likely use flat brass stock for durability. This will be some time before I can say it is the final kit. .
