I have been looking at the selection of Fujimi F1 kits and noticed that they offer a 1990 Ferrari F1-90 and a 1990 Ferrari 641/2. I suspect that the F1-90 is another way to designate the 1990 Ferrari 641 and that the 641/2 is a mid 1990 season upgrade. Can anyone confirm that this is the case? OR... Is the F1-90 the same car as the 641/2?

The F1-90 is the 641, the 641/2 is the mid season upgrade. For the Fujimi kits that fact does'nt play any role, both kits share exactly the same parts, except for the F1-90 which has one (!) more part: The rear wing sideplates of the MexicanGP kit and the FranceGP kit are also exactly the same, but the MexGP parts should have a straight bottom edge. So they are wrong. To say it short, the F1-90 kit is a mislabeled 641/2 kit with 1 extra part and wrong rear wing end plates.

Thanks, Tormentor. These were the years I began to loose interest what with the bogus typo designations for the F1 cars. However, they do build up into nice kits. More delicate than the Protar kits.
