I have been looking around here some more and have seen several of you mention these. The look real cool and very helpful, but how does one go about getting some? I tried searching for the info, but didn't find it. But that may very well be user error! Thanks in advance.

Dave,
Bob Clidinst is the master craftsman of Indy Car Modeling. He is my mentor and I am proud to say my friend. He is a WORLD of information. Bob has seen ever lap turned by any car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 1964....anf his father was a chief mechanic for teams back int eh early 1950's.....I'm working on the Hinkle Special and there isn't much info on that car.....So I called Bob. "What was the color of the frame rails in the Hinkle Special?", I asked......"Red." Bob quickly responded. No where, not in any book or any publication will you find that information....Bob knows.
His drawings are $5.00 a copy and well worth it! His address is..
Bob Clidinst 5731 Windmill Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46254
Send him a self address stamped letter for a price list. You'll be glad you did. But, do it before May...Bob still works at the Speedway for the 500.
Best to you
Russ
