I agree, that OLD kit has some great things to offer! I am so glad I bought several a few years back when they were quite cheap! Keep building, looks great!

Again, thanks for the compliments. This board has been a big inspiration to dig into my Indy cars. In fact, it made it real difficult to keep it box stock!

Dave HI Dave, I have seen your work in *other* areas, so I know you do nice models. ;D As to modifying that old kit, I am SURE you know to get Bob Clindinst's drawings. They are beyond accurate, and it makes everything SO MUCH easier! I am still not sure just how many Bob has done, but it is a BUNCH and I am to the point that I have to get the drawings to build almost anything now! (gotta than oldcalhoun for turning me on to Bob's drawings!) ;D Mongo |
