Hi ya Duane....
South Eastern Fine Cast, a British Company, did a white-metal model of this car in 1/24 scale. It;'s crude and a pain in the rump to build, but you can get a decent looking car out of it. You can still find them here and thee...good luck!
Best to you

Would Etzel's Miller kit work for this one?

I just received the book "The Last Great Miller" front wheel drive car.
I see a lot of similarities between it and the 1935 Gilmore Aurora kit where it could possibly be coverted. Cowl and slope of the tails are different, and of course building the front differential.
I may have to find another Aurora kit.

Short story made long......sometime ago I was comissioned to build the Duray car for a well known Hollywood producer. He had a very interesting collection of models and rare racing books. I used the Southeast Finecast kit and heavily modified it. I scratchbuilt the front Dedion from brass and turned aluminum and had it chrome plated. Photo-etch the grille and plated the shell. Added photo etch nut heads and turned down the rubber tyres to simulate the 'balloons". Added real leather to the seat and turned the gauge bezels. I also made left side hood to replicate the Duray car(kit one is not correct). Anyway....he loved it and thought it captured the stance of the car perfectly...I loved it as well one of my favorites. The fellow passed away a few years ago and donated his collection the Peterson museum....apparently the car is in thier. possesion in a box, in closet somewhere....oh I'd love to have that one back!
