I finally finished my 3 Millers. They are the 1926, 1928, and 1929 winning cars. I have had these cars in my stash for years. Two were curbside kits and the third was an Etzel kit.I would get them out to work on them only to find that parts were missing for the curbside kits. I would get discouraged and put them away again for later.I did scratchbuild some of the parts, but some missing parts like the metal cast grill shells and photoetched parts were beyond my capabilities. I had the complete Etzel kit and would use it to determine what was needed for the other two. Recently I heard about American Racing Miniatures reviving the Etzel line of kits. I found their phone numbers on their web site and decided to contact them to see if I could purchase the parts I needed for the curbside kits. Tom Faletti and Ed Mautner couldn't have been nicer. They had me to compile a list of parts I needed and soon I was back working on these long neglected kits. Thank you Tom and Ed. I hope you like the finished cars.
